Alexa Mckenzie, Certified Personal Trainer

Alexa is an ACE certified personal trainer and fitness coach who has gone above and beyond to become an expert in her field. With fitness certifications in Functional Training, Kettlebell Coaching, and TRX Suspension Training, Alexa has gained a wealth of knowledge to help others reach their own fitness goals.

Alexa currently offers small group and 1:1 fitness coaching at ISI Elite Training Northpointe. Whether it's weight loss, muscle gain or recovery from injury that you're looking for, Alexa is the perfect resource to get the results you want. 


Alexa's Personal Story

My personal fitness journey started in 2013 as a response to the trauma of domestic violence and physical abuse I had endured as a young woman. I never wanted to feel weak again. The determination to be strong lit a spark in me that would ignite my passion for a professional career as a Certified Personal Trainer and fitness coach in 2019. 

Strength training taught me some key lessons:

  • I learned how to break unhealthy habits that didn't serve me.
  • I learned that I had a power within me that no one could take away.
  • I learned that confidence comes from within.
  • I learned that discipline is the key to freedom.

Now I want to share what I have learned to help support others in their journeys of resilience by overcoming obstacles, disciplining the body & mind, and encouraging personal empowerment. My mission is to help guide others from feeling disempowered and stuck, to feeling confident and proactive in life’s journey.


I've had the unique opportunity to train clients with diverse age ranges and fitness levels. I've worked with Police Academy and Military recruits, youth athletes, beginners who are just starting to learn about strength training, and individuals who require functional rehab after experiencing serious health issues.

My clients mean the world to me and I am invested in their success! 

My Fitness Coaching Methodology:

  • Everyone deserves to get the most out of their workouts and reach their peak physical performance and that is why I am dedicated to helping my clients train smart and with intention; yielding strong, dynamic results. We start by focusing on fitness training that builds strength and mobility congruently. 
  • Once a solid foundation is established, we move on to nutritional optimization - aligning our food choices with our goals and becoming further educated about how to leverage nutrition in order to enhance results.
  • Finally, we broaden our self-awareness and further develop our attitudes and mindsets in an effort to understand that we are the architects of our lives. Thus unlocking our true inner power.
